A collaboration between Ray-Ban and OpenAI, redefining the future of smart eyewear.
This project begins by redefining smart glasses not as devices that need to be charged, but as eyewear that naturally lives in everyday life. Instead of plugging in cables, a cradle-based system is proposed where simply placing the glasses becomes the act of charging. Without conscious interaction, users experience storage, charging, and use as one continuous and effortless flow. The glasses themselves avoid an overt “smart” appearance, embracing a simple and familiar form similar to the eyewear people already wear today.
Rather than emphasizing technology, this concept focuses on how intelligence can seamlessly blend into daily routines.
Using the finalized design concept, AI tools were applied to simulate realistic wearing scenarios.
This process was used to evaluate proportions, visual presence, and lifestyle context.
