A Simpler Way to Prepare Every Bottle - 매일 반복되는 수유 준비를 더욱 간편하고 편안하게
MIXON is a smart baby formula preparation device that simplifies the daily feeding routine by combining water dispensing and in-bottle mixing into one seamless experience.
Unlike conventional methods that require parents to manually add water, shake the bottle, and check whether the formula has been properly mixed, MIXON combines water delivery with a rotating mixing system inside the baby bottle.
The device delivers water through its upper dispensing outlet, while a rotating mechanism mixes the formula inside the bottle.
MIXON was designed not simply as another baby care appliance, but as a product that brings greater convenience, consistency, and comfort to everyday parenting.

Preparing baby formula is one of the most frequently repeated tasks in early parenting. Parents need to prepare water, measure formula, combine the ingredients, and shake the bottle until the powder is sufficiently dissolved.
Although each step may seem simple, repeating this process throughout the day and night can become physically and mentally demanding, particularly when caring for a crying or hungry baby.
MIXON began with a simple question: How can we reduce unnecessary movements and make the feeding preparation process more intuitive?
The design approach focused on simplifying the overall workflow rather than adding complexity through additional features.
By connecting water dispensing and bottle mixing, MIXON aims to transform a repetitive task into a more effortless daily experience.

분유 수유를 준비하는 과정은 육아 중 가장 빈번하게 반복되는 일상적인 행동 중 하나입니다. 보호자는 분유와 물을 준비하고, 젖병에 내용물을 넣은 뒤 분유가 충분히 섞일 때까지 직접 흔들어야 합니다. 각각의 동작은 단순하지만, 하루에도 여러 번 반복되고 특히 야간 수유 상황에서는 작은 불편함도 크게 느껴질 수 있습니다.

The design concept of MIXON is "One Flow, Less Effort."
The goal was to create a natural and intuitive interaction between the user, the device, and the baby bottle.
MIXON connects water dispensing and rotational mixing through a simplified user journey. By reducing repetitive manual actions, the device allows parents to prepare formula with fewer steps.
Its form, interface, and functional arrangement were developed around the way parents naturally approach, operate, and interact with the product. The result is a baby care device that combines practical functionality with a calm and approachable design language.

The exterior design of MIXON is defined by balanced proportions, clean surfaces, and softly connected geometric forms.
The overall silhouette was designed to provide a sense of stability while minimizing unnecessary visual complexity.
The upper body accommodates the water dispensing function, while the lower area is organized around the placement and mixing of the baby bottle. The relationship between these functional areas was carefully considered to create a visually unified product.
Soft transitions between surfaces reduce the mechanical appearance of the device, creating a warm and approachable character suitable for baby care environments.

Rather than emphasizing the technical complexity of a baby formula preparation device, the design adopts a minimal and refined visual language. A predominantly light-colored exterior conveys cleanliness, simplicity, and a gentle character associated with baby care products.

The development of MIXON required the integration of several functional relationships within a compact product architecture.
Water dispensing, bottle positioning, rotational mixing, and exterior geometry needed to function as parts of one coherent system.
The design process focused on creating a clear relationship between these functional elements while maintaining a simple and approachable form.The upper dispensing area and lower bottle-mixing area were treated as one continuous product experience rather than separate mechanical components. This integration of functional architecture and industrial design reflects the project's central approach: engineering should support intuitive interaction and refined product form.
